COMMUNITY OUTREACH

Community outreach is a Cambria Design Build priority. Through co-op and mentoring programs we provide youth with a foundation of skills which leads them to great career opportunities in the future. Also, the company believes that supporting the community creates a stronger and healthier world for everyone.

Supporting Toronto Pride And Green Initiatives

On June 25th, 2023, Cambria was proud to support the Toronto Gay Hockey Association “TGHA” at the Toronto Pride Parade. Pride Toronto was taking a sustainable approach to this year’s parade and our electric vehicle was the perfect fit to support this initiative.

Donating Personal Protective Equipment

On April 6, 2020, in the peak of COVID-19 Pandemic in Canada, Cambria donated all its owned N95 masks to Southlake Hospital in order to have a step, however small but towards helping the front-line workers and the community.

“Your recent donation of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), urgently needed masks, is helping keep Southlake’s front-line workers safe while caring for patients as we continue the fight against COVID-19”, Susan Mulllin, President and CEO of Southlake Hospital continued in her appreciation letter to Cambria: “We can’t thank you enough for stepping up during these difficult times to lend your support to our hospital, and our communities”.

Dixon Hall Neighbourhood Services

Supporting Communities in Need

On March 1, 2018 Dixon Hall Neighbourhood Services fundraiser, Dixonlicious was supported by Cambria Design Build.

Dixon Hall provides 20,000 meals to their community members who access food programs. Proceeds from Dixonlicious also support Community Meal programs for homeless men and women transitioning out of the shelter system, community lunches for people living with HIV/AIDs, and after-school initiatives for youth in Regent Park.

More information about donating to Dixon Hall can be found on at DixonHall.org.

Big Bike – Heart & Stroke Foundation

It’s a heart-pumping, cheer-thumping, crazy big, fun ride!

For 20 minutes, 29 riders power one Big Bike. On event day, one of our drivers will accompany you as you pedal through your community and celebrate your accomplishments. While you pedal, you literally stop traffic to support critical heart disease and stroke research. But be warned: The minute you stop, you’ll want to climb right back on. It’s that much fun!

Cambria Design Build has participated the Big Bike – Heart & Stroke Campaign in 2016 and 2017.

More information about donating to the Heart & Stroke Foundation can be found at heartandstroke.ca.
